Even if the Bálintitt castle is not on the list of historical monuments, through its architecture and the beauty of the surrounding park, we have to present it. The late baroque castle was most probably built in the 18^th century, but in time it was transformed several times, we suppose that this is how it turned from a symmetrical U shape into the asymmetrical L shape. The building lacking excessive ornaments, was surrounded by an immense park. Only a small part of this park survived, but luckily the artificial lake is preserved even if it doesn’t look the same as it did in its glory days.
